Thoughts on the 1:1 Time Scale mod. I finally got around to trying the 1:1 Time Scale mod. It really does bring the game to a new level! It's such a treat to see the game with a 1:1 Time Scale and seeing the sky change so gradually, especially with sunrises and sunsets. It has also given me a deeper appreciation for the scenery during a sunrise Created by Drive Safely. This mod has been bringing more immersion to common sounds in the game for over 8 years! It packs a lot of realistic sounds within one mod, making it great value within the 100 mod limit in Convoy multiplayer. Compatibility * ETS2 1.49.2 + ATS 1.49.3. This mod changes the time scale of the USA map to allow 1 in-game minute to last 1 real-world minute. Compatibility: This mod is no longer maintained. It was created for ATS version 1.44. It has been known to work on other versions, but it is unknown to me if it will work in the future. Load order is preferred above maps and economy mods. Max wrote: there is one small detail in new patch that can help you: you can set your own map scale. the three original scales (19, 15, and 3) should be marked as the original scales. a option to set map scale is good but only if the original scales are marked as the ones originally used to make the map. Iirc the time scale is 1:6 in MP which means that for every real minute that passed, 6 minutes in game have passed. The scale does not change, no matter if you are in a city or out of city or on a highway. "Just because others break rules, does not The new scale is equivalent to that of Euro Truck Simulator 2, so the flow of time in both games will be the same. There is also more room now to go back and improve some of the places that were compromised due to the limited scale and replace them with more realistic depictions. With 4.5 hours in the game, where the time is running faster, you may spend 1 hour waiting to leave a parking spot because of a traffic jam, 0.5 hours waiting in front of a red light and 1 hour parking on an awkwardly designed rest station, so in fact you have only driven 2.0 hours. #6. tesTTrucker May 9, 2020 @ 11:48pm. So if you’re traveling at a constant 60kph indicated, in a city you cover 3km per min, on the open road you cover ~19km per min whereas in real life you would only cover 1km per min pwd1.
